HOW ARE W.V. PRODUCTS DIFFERENT?

Since our inception we have sought to create beautiful, high-quality natural products, using ingredients that are made right here in the United States. Our fragrances are all designed to uplift and inspire. They draw from elements of the world around us, and help to set a mood without being overpowering. In the end, it’s our goal to provide you with a product that will leave you feeling good in every way.

 

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS IN YOUR CANDLES?

We use only the finest ingredients, all of which are phthalate-free, lead-free, petroleum-free, cruelty-free, and vegan.  Our fragrances are a combination of natural and synthetic fragrances and essential oils, which are all free from carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, and acute toxins, and we use all natural 100% soy wax, grown in America.

 

WHY ARE SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCES USED?

Natural and synthetic fragrances are combined in order to develop complex scents.  The synthetic fragrances are not harmful to the user or the environment, and are less expensive to produce, therefore keeping down the cost of our products.  

 

WHAT IS THE FRAGRANCE LEVEL OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

We have designed our products to be uplifting, rather than overwhelming.  Their scent throw is calculated to fill small spaces without being overpowering.  In order to ensure the best coverage for your room, please refer to the sizing guide below. Cold Throw is what we call the fragrance from an unlit candle. The Hot Throw is the fragrance you get once the candle has been lit.

Small Spaces: mini candles

Medium Spaces: standard candles

Large Spaces: large candles, multiple standard candles

 

HOW CAN I GET THE BEST EXPERIENCE FROM YOUR PRODUCTS?

To get the best results from our candles, be sure to trim the wick to 1/4” before burning. Do this every single time before you burn. On the first burn, be sure to allow 3-4 hours for a complete burn pool to form. That means the entire surface of the candle will be liquified. This is called a memory burn, and prevents the candle from tunneling. In each subsequent burn, be sure you reach a complete burn pool before putting the candle out to ensure the longest life possible.  

 

ARE YOUR JARS RECYCLABLE?

Absolutely! Our jars can also be reused in a variety of ways. They make great storage containers, vases, and more. It is best to clean the jar thoroughly before recycling or putting to a new use. Once the metal base of the wick has been removed you can melt the wax in the microwave and dispose of it, wipe it out, then clean with dish soap or a 1:1 combination of water and vinegar.
